short jackets are okay, as long as they cover your ass and the button stance is not 4 inches above your belt. imho. in your case it distorts the proportions of your body quite a bit. a shame since the shoulders and sleeves are on par.

Except with denim. Hardly anyone carries off denim well with tailored jackets. If you're wearing an unstructured jacket and jeans, the covering-the-rear principle doesn't apply. You don't have to enjoy SW&D to recognize that wearing denim carries a separate set of conventions from traditional tailored clothing.

Like the jacket Gnatty. Don't like the colors coordination.

GDL - Yeah, Ian's jeans are awful, and there's a lot of MC stuffiness going on there, but reread my original comment - for the MC in-crowd, that look is their apex. So going off that, its a good fit. Plus, realistically speaking, he's going to pull more ***** with that outfit than he will with a pair of N&F. I mean, if we're judging based on important criteria and all...

I agree. I think my blazer would go well with a denim aesthetic.

+1 was about to say the same - the overload of tan and brown (belt, jacket, pants) bores the whole look

do like the jacket though... is it belstaff?

Can we also point out that Hagg clearly only went out to fulfill his fantasy of leading a fashionable and stylish lifestyle? And, in that respect, he's also doing it wrong because real ar-teests do not go to Starbucks.
