Yeah, I found a fitted Aran style sweater from a scottish company. Even if the sleeves were long enough, it just looks strange... and thank you
...

The thighs of these trousers seem much too baggy compared to the knee down. Did you buy them this way or have them tapered? If they can be slimmed or let out accrodingly they would look much more normal. Also, I think your instincts are right to cover up the shirt - it's much to security guardish to wear in any circumstances other than working as such.

Dude, you have possibly the most ecclectic wardrobe I've seen (that works). I wish you were my size so I could justify stealing all your threads ;)

Thanks man....today:

Was in nyc last week. This is my tribute to Foo. Or Bill Cunningham. I forget. (the blue is much more vivid in person)

Note black shoes and wool undershirt.

You never got any credit for this one... "My day job is enforcer down at the docks, but I'm on vacation this week"

Tonight...crawling through the pipe chest in search of the one discordant pipe. Found it!

I'm not sure if the thing with the thighs is the camera angle. I think they looked fine in the mirror, but they look a bit hammer-pantsy in the pic.

Shirt's gonna go as soon as I get something the same color that fits as well. I'd been considering taking the seam ripper to the epaulets, but I think there's just too much military-ish **** to that shirt for that to fix it.

I might quibble with some aspects of this, SVB, but the overall impression is good.
