Is this the "Do the opposite of what Rambo says and you'll be just fine" thread? Sure seems that way.
it is, your rec as a matter of fact. thanks for the rec, and thanks for the compliment.
Had a great night
Happy new year everyone. You guys are like 24 hours behind us right? Should be getting on it now then. Have fun!
trousers need to be lengthened, sweater needs to evolve into a crew-neck, socks need to be changed to something less matchy with the sweater.
Couldn't disagree more. Stich has had some terrible outfits in the past but this one (and many of the more recent ones) is certainly good.
Trouser length is personal. To be fair, they are a little iGent in length, but definitely within the bounds of what is currently fashionable.
Crew neck jumpers with a shirt shorten the torso and choke the wearer. On someone as broad as Stich the V shape is helping him look more proportionate. When you combine that with a bushy beard the last thing you want to do is remove more of the neck.
The Socks + Jumper match is good - if anyone pays close enough attention to his clothes to notice, they will see that he chose his socks deliberately. If they don't notice then it does no harm. It has teh same impact as a club tie - if you notice then you are part of the elite, if you don't then it makes no odds to you what colour it is.
Thanks. I will probably say this as I am getting it quite a lot. I do bodybuilding training. My weight can fluctuate depending on what time of the year it is. I can have a 34 - 36 waist and my thighs remain at 28". Perfect fitting pants are hard to come by, but I make do with what I have. Yeah they can look a little snug on the thighs and shoulders sometimes, but it is not like I am purposely wearing skinny/slim clothing trying to make it fit me. I have a hard figure to cater for and I am not really in the financial situation to be getting everything MTM or Bespoke.
