Another big fan of BR's cotton-linen blend trousers, wearing a similar pair right now and have another pair waiting to be ironed. Their old Monogram stuff used to be pretty good as well.

A few years ago, I bought a pair of Banana Republic Cotton Linen blend grey glen plaid trousers.  I just looked at the labels in them.  One says "Linen 52% Cotton 48%".  Another label says "SPR '10" (Spring 2010?).  Another says "Made In India".

They don't seem to be a slim fit.  They look like this (on a day last year when the temperature was well over 100F).

I've found BR pants to fit very well OTR for me as well, cut slim but not skinny which works out great for my build. IMO the best deal for half-lined wool pants when on clearance, even if they aren't a SF approved brand. I'm regularly able to pull 100% wool (typically lighter weight) trousers off their clearance rack for $30-$40 otd, even got lucky once with a pair of their Monogram line at that price point, featuring Vitale Barberis Canonico wool. It's also worth popping in-store to check out their trousers on the clearance rack!

Coming from the eastern part of Ghana today, I stopped over at a local garden located in the same region to walk a bit and breathe in some fresh air:)

A little into distance behind me is an estimated 450yo tree named Lady Knutsford

Great pics MC. At least it goes to show that we British at least did some good things while we were there!

How come so shy? Haven't you shown your mug before?

Anyway enjoy the fresh air before you hit the diesel and dust of Accra!
