Why?

Good question...I wonder what the point of that was.

Quick snap of what I wore today. Mostly errands, but I just got this jacket from Kent Wang and couldn't resist a chance to wear it.. I will probably take some more pictures of it in better lighting tomorrow and do a writeup, but it is an amazing jacket. Ninja edit: Also my first WAYWRN post, be gentle.

I actually like that a lot. I like casual shirts worn like that with a casual jacket. A lot of people here don't like patterned shirts like that, but if you're not wearing a tie (or a PS in your case) then it can work.

Glad you like the jacket!

@novaeagle looks good!

Thanks guys. Photo's a little washed out due to the original being too dark, but ah well - the jacket appears lighter in the photo than in reality, as a result. The jacket is 3r2, guabello, lightly canvassed and unpadded shoulders. I'm excited to own it - it's going to get a LOT of wear.

@ridethecliche The shirt is a sid mashburn, it was gifted, actually!

What do you think of this outfit?

post #20805 of 22747
I don't think I have seen many straight up shirt + chino outfits that have ever wowed me. 99/100 times it looks like half an outfit.

For this combo to look good, the chinos and shirt should be exceptionally well cut. I'm sorry to say your outfit is sorta bland. One area that could instantly improve your outfit is the pants, they need to be hemmed. See how they pool around your feet? That's something that instantly makes an outfit look slightly sloppy. Not that you can't have a break on your trousers, but you need to steer clear of pooling.

IMHO, if you want the outfit to look a bit more interesting with the existing components (after you've fixed the pants), try throwing on a sport coat or chunky cardigan.
