Hopefully @FrankCowperwood won't mind that I post this over here from SW&D, and I'll spoiler it so he can x-post and receive the well-deserved votes of confidence if he'd like, but I think it's a really great bomber jacket.

It caught my eye as something a bit similar to a Woolrich jacket I tried on this weekend, which I thought was nice and a bit unique with the puffy body and heavy cotton/wool sweater arms (so although the actual sweater I'm wearing is navy, this is a jacket not a vest).

Really just a PSA in case anyone else thinks it's nice too, as it's on sale for ~25% off and from the product copy appears to only be available at Bloomies; it isn't on the Woolrich site. I don't have any Woolrich stuff but have heard good things, and would probably have bought it if I lived somewhere a tiny bit colder and didn't just drop a chunk on a new peacoat.

The sleeves and body are a lot closer in color (navy) than the product pic makes it seem, at least inside the store it was - and the hood unsnaps with the bomber style collar underneath. Anyway, just thought it was cool.

Oh, no worries about posting that. It's a bit on the work wear side of things. This bomber is something new from American Trench in collaboration with Krammer & Stoudt. The shell is rip-stop Ventile cotton and I can attest to the fact that it is quite water resistant, at least right away. I had it on today in the rain and water beads up on it and shakes right off.

And now, more pants.

Same jeans as before, fit comments welcome. Fairly mild look today, though I'm really enjoying the coat. It's a brown, thick cotton twill with a nice hand to it.

Still far too warm in these damp islands...

Anyway, get out your herringbone gents:

I like your grosgrain belt Chulillo. Nice pop of color.

Another textured jacket today. This one is really a sweater in jacket form.

@fairlynerdy Thanks. I really like this type of belt, I own many different ones. Does that jacket wrinkle a lot? A couple of years ago all the brands carry something very similar to that one I believe but I tried many different versions of it and they all look very short on me so never bought one. I have to admit that they felt very comfortable to wear. :fonz:

@Chulillo the jacket doesn't wrinkle much at all, certainly less than a non-knit jacket. Which makes it great for travel, along with how comfortable it is.

Still feels like summer and the news said today that we might have these temperatures past Christmas, crazy (tomorrow are supposed to go higher):

Given the temperatures we are having and how sunny and "summery" the weather is I decided to brighten up a little today:

@Chulillo

Do you shop at Massimo Dutti? I find for a mall brand the quality is pretty good. I have a pair of chino's and a chukka boot that I'm happy with.

I'm going to pick up a second pair of chino's

Didn't you say once that you don't do white pants/jeans? Either you didn't say that (at least unequivocally), or you did say that and you're a well-dressed LIAR! icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif
