I feel so countrified. Photos (Click to show)

I think the fit is great, but I can't help but feel that that the grey flannel trousers are too formal for this outfit, especially with the gingham shirt and casual sweater.

Nonsense foxy, grey flannels are the ultimate casual trousers for rousing about in the woods...

^FWIW, I've never seen anyone outside of iGentland (which includes me) wear gray flannel trousers.

You could say this about most of what goes on here.

That's because everyone wears smooth worsted 3-season suits and just mixes and matches for odd-jacket combinations.

Central Park, New York. Regret the wardrobe I brought on my trip, but oh well.

Pink, brown, blue is a great combo ^. Are those Rota corduroys?

Those are great cords, Murl! I love pink with blue but didn't think to pair it with brown before, might give it a shot.

Today was a beautiful, sunny but cold day so cords, boots and lambswool served me quite well:

Too bad we can't see more of the outfit @Murlsquirl but it looks nice from what we see.

Like your combo today @dragos25 something I would totally wear.

Likewise @Chulillo , though not this time of year, I'd probably freeze !

Today the minimum was -2 degrees celsius :satisfied:

Since I see you wearing this style of tan jacket quite often, I must ask: is it considered a field jacket or a safari jacket? What's the difference between the two, fabric?

I consider it field jacket because of that exactly, the fabric.

I have many field jackets y various colors and also safari jackets haha... I am a jacket hoarder I guess.

-2ºC my goodness... we have reached that temperature maybe three or four days every other year LOL

Try -30C in dead winter. Your balls will freeze smile.gif
