I just got that brown one from Drinkwater's in Cambridge. One of their house brand items. The fit is very similar to Brooks Brothers wool sweaters, and quality seems great.

Cheers,

Thanks guys. Pants are Ralph Lauren Black Label. They actually have 1-2% Elastane that makes the cotton fabric feel very light.

It's not the size that counts, it's what you do with it.

Grey herringbone on a cold spring day

Japanese on top (Engineered Garments, Sugar Cane, Kamakura)

American on the bottom (Epaulet, Alden)

Yeah,  our local dealer just got their shipment. I was debating between this one and the olive moleskin but went with this in the end.

Gerry, exactly what I'm trying to choose from, although I already have a number of Olive/Greenish outerwear....Regarding the herringbone, about 12-13 oz, heavy soft/stiff hand? Do you wear a M? Thanks

I've got a number of olive/greenish outerwear too and that played a part in my decision :) As for the fabric, I'd say about 12-13 oz with a very soft hand. It has more give than the moleskin.

Very, very nice, @Gerry Nelson! I wouldn't even have minded sockless in this case.

I understand the practicalities of the hat, but I don't love it with the rest of the ensemble.

Those eidos polos are really something! I've got the navy and white, but I'm still looking for the light blue version...
