Need some feedback. I think the pants are too low and/or tight. The sit very weird on the hips making it look like I've got a gut. If that's the case, I'm looking for recommendations for better fitting chinos.

It looks like your pants are just too big. The lower rise won't necessarily create that "gut" look, but if you combine it with a baggier fit (which you appear to have here) it does. Your shirt looks like its bulging in the gut as well.

Aeglus: consistently great.
As for the showing of the belt, I have some polo shirts that are just too long. I always tuck them in, but I feel that pulling them up like NYR did would make them look proportional. However, I can't get past the idea of it. I also feel that NYR's rugged look let's him do it quite harmoniously.

This looks really good aeglus. I'd probably never have gone to white shoes with this look, but they look totally natural with this fit. Really, really well done.
I had to work on a Saturday so that is why I look like an asshole more than ever. (sleeves are too short but who cares)

Thanks, I still remember asking the collective if I should or shouldn't buy those Tricker's over a year ago. There was a resounding no because they would not be versatile. I figured they'd be fine with jeans anytime and with almost anything. I was right luckily. Really versatile shoes. I've always found they work really well with jeans and this tweed jacket because both have bits of white in it.
