@Morgan... What model of jacket is that... do J.Crew typically have a nice low buttoning point like that? Would you be averse to sharing your height?

I don't like the way your collar points are laying down on your shoulders, Stitchy. Have you tried magnetic collar stays yet?

I usually love your ensembles IST, but the top pic makes me think of a hipster on a thrift-frenzy. I love the cotton jacket, though!

I like the shoes in that combo bit think the jacket could be a little more fitted.

^ seriously? That jacket is about perfect. I assume we're talking about the M65 thing.

Yes we are and I disagree about the fit. The fabric looks as if it goes straight down from below the shoulders. My field jacket has a drop (6 only) and a little elastic band between the top and bottom pockets to give it some silhouette.
Just a matter of personal prefferance though; each to their own.
Its at the bottom of this page should you be interested.

I've never been a huge fan of the t-shirt-under-a-blazer thing. It always feels unfinished, like you've forgotten your shirt.
I'd +1, but I'm wearing a jacket (though not a blazer) with a t-shirt right now. :embar: I've always hated the look but I'm traveling today and decided to dress for comfort; besides it's an unstructured casual jacket that has a vibe similar to IST's. I now think I like the look.

First picture looks great. Second one is severely let down from the knees down.
