^ Like the dad wash, not the dad fit. Maybe it's just the picture angle.

Sweater is excellent.

Off topic, but...

I bought a new Hugo Boss shawl collar slim fit tux for a new years dance party only to get sick and was unable to go out.

My country club is having a Mardi Gras party and I was wondering if the tux would work if I jazzed it up with a loud vest and bow tie?  I am dying to wear it.

Opinions please...

Yeah I shouldn't have gone full dad. They hang a little better cuffed, I swear.

Agree, though cuffing a jean called the dad jean maybe defeats the purpose.

I'd say any sort of dinner jacket/suit doesn't fit the New Orleans vibe...

The most formal thing I would wear would be a jazz club type chalk stripe suit.

Actually, a tux is the ONLY option for a proper Mardi Gras ball. That said, if you're far away from NOLA that tradition is probably not enforced.

If you have a link, I'd love to check it out, my only experience is with northeast country clubs.
