ALL of your pants -- denim, chinos, cargo -- are way too tight, evident by that obvious stressing around the crotch (and the way they cling around the thighs)

But you know what? I have a different kind of trousers, wide and tight and I like all of them ;)

if you have other, better fitting cuts, you've never shown them here

Ran errands all day.

Sweater by Ralph Lauren
Shirt by Ralph Lauren
Jeans by APC
Shoes by Ralph Lauren (but changed into my daltons)

your jeans do not look good. people have told you this several times.

Don't see it. :puzzled: Nothing particularly bad with slimness the legs. A bit roomy. But maybe the waist is stretched out as you say.

This is how they are supposed to fit unworn. After 1 or 2 wears, the waist will stretch out significantly and you will regret not sizing down 2 very quickly. There's thousands of posts on the topic - people debate sizing 1, 2 or 3 but the consensus is clear on the topic. I've owned half a dozen APC raw denims and size down 2 for correct fit after stretch

I am considering a pair of APCs. Question for those that have them. I wear 34s mostly in trousers, 33 or so in jeans/chinos from jcrew, BB and the like. I have a larger seat then my waist etc. i usually let out the seat of my trousers. Should I still size down to a 32? Or would the seat not stretch out ? Thanks

Seat stretches out as well. You and I have somewhat similar body shapes from what I've seen. APC NS are not the best jeans cut for me but they're alright. You should size down 2 - will be uncomfortable the first 10 hours of wear then it will feel right.

Thanks man. Yeah, the waist is usually never the problem it is the seat, so hopefully it wouldn't be too bad. I want to try them out to see as I like the look.

As a rule of thumb for APC raw, if it is insanely tight but you can still barely button them, it's the right size. If you just cannot button them at all, they're too small.

I think both jeans and boat shoes look fine.
What I don't like, and I am actually facing the same problem with all polo- and T-shirts that fit my shoulders and chest, is the fabric spreading around your stomach.
In my opinion those shirts are cut for men with a greater circumference around this area compared to what you and I are.
Unluckily I think it makes us look like kids rather than showing our athletic silhouette and am thus thinking about dropping most of them in favour of MTM OCBD shirts.

You can get MTM polos from Kent Wang if you wish. I usually just take mine to the tailor and taper them.

Besides having pants hemmed I don't like alternations to OTR clothes, either I go OTR all the way or MTM.

I have heard a lot of good things about the KW polos and their price seems reasonable.
Unluckily I do neither live in the US nor do I have all my measurements needed to place an online order.
As soon as I have my measurements taken professionally for my next MTM shirts I will ask to have them handed out to myself and will then contact KW regarding their MTM offerings.
Thanks for the reminder anyways. :)
