So we have discussed dorkiness in MC casual, the sexual allure of cashmere, and whether one can merely dislike something or strongly dislike. Well, may I present a thick as hell lambswool sweater no woman would likely want all over her and a dorky tattersall shirt?
FWIW Crats outfit would work well in spring/early summer on a not so hot night. In the middle of winter one would expect darker pants. I think the footwear choice is hard w/ white jeans at night..hard to get that right. Also, the no undershirt/oxford under a vneck sweater is a somewhat common look for the 25-35 demo for nightlife. I see it as a classier alternative to a vneck tshirt in cooler weather. Though, not sure I would wear it.
Thanks for that T. I've been a frequent visitor to New York for over twenty years (coming in again next week!) but I've never got the neighborhoods down properly nor seen them as well represented as in that map!
Crat, I am sorry I have to agree with Ianiceman.
A V-neck sweater only workswith a shirt underneath, never without or with a T-shirt.
Can you clarify this? V-neck sweater is only OK with a crewneck t-shirt or any t-shirt?
What I wanted to say was, you should always wear a button front shirt underneath a V-neck sweater.
Instead, if you wear a T-shirt underneath, it will look odd.
If you go even further and drop the T-shirt as well, it will be even worse a look, plus it makes no sense to me, you wear a sweater because it's cold, but you don't wear another layer of clothing underneath? Why?
