Rolling up jacket sleeves like that didn't look good on John Taylor in 1985 and not does it look good on you today. If its too hot to wear a jacket properly then take it off, I can't believe the perceived benefit in cooling is worth the crappy appearance.

I wore it like that while hoping the weather would Hold Back The Rain. It's A Matter Of Feeling, I suppose. Save A Prayer for me!

Interesting, thanks. I did think about using my navy suede drivers at first, but thought it might be one colour too many, given the checked jacket and dark belt. I also wondered about using tan/mid-brown brogues but they just felt too heavy for the look. Maybe shoes in a similar colour to the belt would have been best, in hindsight. In terms of light-feeling shoes, I do have a pair of tassel loafers in that colour. I suppose they might have worked.

Fixable. Half inch too short, sometimes not. Take em back to et hemmed if you really want to.

Oxford Cloth pants for me today, didn't notice the catch on the left leg until after I was home from the gym...

Hey MC Casual gurus. Can you guys help me understand what is off about my casual fits? For reference, I am 5'11'' 175 40-41 chest 33-34 waist. usually 31-32 inseam. I find that I have to size up too much in casual pants to accomodate my thighs. I run and cycle so my thighs are bigger than I would like but it's my body type. Any comments on what to size up or down in and what measurements seem to be off in the shirts and pants would be great. These are two of my recent purchases seen yesterday but at different angles. I am not so much concerned about the color combo (I agree this isn't the best I have done) more about fit or lack thereof. Thanks in advance. I appreciate anything. Angle may be slightly tilted, my apologies.

I think because you have reeeeeeeeeeeeally long longs and a reeeeeeeeally short torso, wearing pants with such high rises looks kind of odd. Maybe some lower-rised pants? At least, it looks like you've got hella-long legs, regardless of whether you really do or not.

Try medium rise pants. Those are extremely high. Medium rise will feel different at first, but you will probably get used to it, and you will look better.
