I think this is the kind of simple, casual fit that can look very good. But I'd respectfully suggest a few tweaks. First, the shirt is just too big for you. Something more fitted (especially in the shoulders and sleeves) and definitely shorter in the body would work much better IMO. Coincidentally I am cuban and a dad on a business trip with a limited carry on bag. I agree on the wash color and am looking for something on the light wash side just haven’t found it yet ( agree on the fit needing to be a little less fitted more straight). The shirt is the right size for me just looks much bigger in this photo, but I believe intended to be tucked in. Shorter length would definitely improve the look.
