God damn it Namor. Stop showing us all how poorly you tuck your shirts in. We get it.

Too hard to tell form pictures, but looks a little sloppy. I don't like the shawl sweater covering a loose fitting (possibly linen blend) shirt.

Thanks for the kind words Ace. Wazzup folks.
Your last look might be helpful landing planes for the FAA. I suggest negotiating rate discounts.

Terrible. Roll-up jeans look terrible. I know this is not common wisdom but trust me this is one of those "I can't believe I did that" things.

Hip asians can rock rolled up selvedge; MC can not. Period. The shoes with the jeans look like nubbed shell cordovan stubs. They are weird and unattractive.

Also, I would go with a less tapered jean to hide your height to width ratio. (And I'm not a fan of leather jackets or tshirts but to each his own).

Ha, it was more on the side of casual. Sloppy as opposed to..?

Pants are too tapered.

They look more like a straight cut than tapered.

I see a wide range of people rolling their jeans, and it looks fine.

this is pretty good...may I ask how do you prevent any flaring around the waist of your shirts? e.g. this thread: click

After some trial and error and tweaking measurements, I got them to have no flare. I used to use darts, but now just have all my shirts made by the same tailor and use the same size with minor tweaks, depending on if the shirt is more casual or if I intend to wear it with a tie and jacket.

I like the trousers, shoes, and shirt - they match your hair. However, the jacket is awful. Way too many zippers/straps. Absolutely foolish.
[/spoiler]
All bad. Makes you look overweight. Pants are too tapered, jacket and shirt simply accentuate this.

Like the look overall and think that is a masterful use of colors and textures. However:

Neck of shirt looks a little too "just got off work a need a scotch."
Jacket too snug at chest - looks fine unbuttoned (possibly fits your perfectly with less layers).
I don't understand rolling cuffs on jeans - all devotees aside, it seems like sprezzaturra for sprezzaturras sake.

I also apologize if this is common knowledge since you're somewhat of a lapel celebrity, but what is that curious fishing lure/close pin looking item?

lunch with daughter and wife... nothing fancy here...

Don't like the belt
Don't like the buttons (look like blue tuxedo studs)
The pants hem look curious - do they have any elastic in them?

Overall, pants and shoes are nice, I agree with criticism on shirt fit.

calmdownbro.jpg. It seems like a lot of the criticism on this forum is due to non-professional looking photos. Don't get me wrong there is a lot to be learned from posting pictures and listening to folks but I feel like a lot of people lose sight that clothes are meant to be worn. Your shirt will come untucked and muffin top a bit, your pants are going to move around as you walk, collars aren't always going to cooperate etc.

Casual can still be neat. I'm a bit of a straight line architecture short haircut type of person.

I appreciate your feedback.

You're welcome, Moo.

+1. I hope it was honest, not mean, and of course - it is just 1 opinion, not fact :foo:.

To you. Bell bottoms were also once in vogue.

None of those criticisms were due to the quality of the photos. You're making an assumption that ruffled looks are due to movement during wear, when it could be a stylistic choice. I'm offering criticism on the look as a whole in case it is the latter - the wearers can take my opinion and do with it what they please.

Including telling me to shove it :slayer:.
