Excellent outfits, stylish and comfortable.
I really like both of the cardigans.
Can I ask where you got them?
I love cardigans because they are just so comfortable and convenient.

They are both J.Crew. The to one is from last year and the second it from this year.

I really like the trim look of the overcoat in the top pic.

The second pic is obviously more of a S&D look, which isn't necessarily my thing. But, regardless of my aversion to the black/white look, I think the length of the t-shirt cuts you at the widest part of your hips, which makes you look "bigger" than you are and your legs look shorter than they are. Because of the short jacket, I think the overall look might work better with a tucked/semi-tucked or shorter t-shirt.

the guy, of some eastern European or middle eastern descent (based on his accent and business card) asked me out of the blue if I was Italian...I asked him what made him think so and he said it was the way that I was dressed...I was wearing nothing but thrifted clothing.

Well, Italy's economy IS in pretty bad shape right now.

A little selvedge, cashmere, and beer. And I appear to be wearing nearly the same thing as Mr. K, except the shoes.

Pants need to be shortened and the shirt could fit better in the shoulders and waist. Maybe size down one on the shirt?

I just left those pants at the tailor for hemming.
I also agree with the shirt, the problem is that if I size down it won't fit on the shoulders and chest. I may have to have them put darts on them.
