I have a terrible habit of having my hands in my pockets when standing or walking. I hate what it does to one's silhouette and I feel like it looks like a lack of confidence. The problem is when I am standing or walking with my hands out of my pockets I feel like I look like I am trying to be "tough" or "strong" (read: douchebag), which I don't want to convey. What is your approach to dealing with your hands? Any advice for me? Thanks guys.

Trouser pockets or jacket pockets? I sometimes have the urge to put my hands in my pockets, but I always walk with my hands free. If you have the right gait, you should be able to walk freely and comfortably. Likely, it's just a mental thing, and you need to realize that you are a man and it is natural for you to walk with your arms out.

I have the same issue, but when standing (i.e. waiting for someone). I hate it! But the alternative is crossing arms, which it's not good at all for my shirts
