I like to wear a three piece or odd vest with an open collar shirt now that I don't wear ties anymore >.>

Also my emergency shirt which is a tent like white hickey freeman shirt gets hidden away by the vest. And then the super lazy times when I wash my shirts but don't feel like ironing looks marginally better with it's wrinkles partially hidden away.

I wear a three piece on some occasions. You really need to be in shape to make it look decent nowadays.

I would totally rock this as a 3 piece. Granted not something you could wear to an interview or board meeting, but would make for a kick ass party suit.

1. Better heating everywhere generally.
2. Global warming.
3. Acceptable casual dress codes.
4. Uncomfortable.

Besides RL, are there any other brands who make decent 3-piece suits?

Can the "add a waistcoat" to your typical suit work?

I would say:

1. Acceptable dress codes - it's very OTT and CEO in today's culture

The rest aren't of great importance, people wear impractical clothing everyday

Generally people prefer less clothing perhaps.

Because a waistcoat is uncomfortable in warm weather and overheated buildings of today.
