I'm not disputing that whey protein isn't natural. However the point is that natural whey isn't readily available outside of farms and I'm quite certain the OP was talking about the supplement for of whey protein, ie. the powder which is processed and preserved with artificial ingredients. This renders the form of whey protein that one (including this guy) consumes artificial, not natural.
As I said before, I have it in moderation and believe it to be a great product for those trying to get enough protein in their diet as it speeds things up post-workout, is generally cheaper than buying meat, and it is quite portable.
