Hello friends..!
Is protein powder injurious to health for building body...? If anyone knows then please reply me.. Your suggestions will be appreciated...Thanks in advance...!

Yes, a most emphatic yes. Especially artifical proteins (ones generated in labs like whey proteins and such)

I agree....there's a big difference between looking good and being healthy. Want the body builder look then lift heavy weights and eat high artifiical protein. Want to be healthy then do Crossfit and eat Maximized Living nutrition plan.

Powdered proteins & supplements REALLY aren't necessary until you are lifting huge weight. It can be a crutch before then. Also IMO its a waste of money. You should spend that on buying good whole foods to get your protein instead of those shakes/powders.

Agreed, protein powders are mostly artificial and therefore not a natural means of attaining one's source of protein. However, as a supplement to an otherwise nutritious diet, it is a great (and cost effective) alternative. If you figure 25-30 grams of protein in a scoop of powder to cost about $1.25 for a good quality powder, it's much cheaper than buying chicken breasts. With egg whites it's a bit of a push. Buy the liquid kind, who knows what else you're getting - it's processed one way or another. Via eggs themselves, you end up spending extra $ if you want better eggs. I love eggs, but can only eat so many in a day without it getting repetitive. All in, if you supplement with a shake once a day (more importantly on workout days) then it is a solid, cost-effective means of "building body".

There's nothing "artificial" about whey protein, wtf is wrong with you people? It's just a protein that's filtered and isolated from milk, it's entirely naturally occurring.

Almost all protein powders on the market contain preservatives, other chemical ingredients and sucralose. Not to mention teh industry isn't heavily scrutinized by the FDA so who knows if half of the brands out there are brewing meth alongside their whey protein isolate.

Maybe it's just me, but there's a bit of a difference between "most whey protein products contain artificial ingredients" and "whey protein is artificial."
