It doesn't matter. He acts like he is. It's not just black people or rappers. It is often times white people. It can be anyone who enjoys living like a thug and actively pursues that image.

Living like a thug? In what way does Lil Wayne live, or enjoy living like a thug? You're stereotyping rappers and/or people who like a certain genre of music by pigeonholing them into a category of criminals. Thug Life is not living like a thug. It's when one comes from nothing, overcomes obstacles, and succeeds in what they did/do. People like Jay-Z—critics might not admit it, but nobody has done it quite like he has done it.

Does having four children by four different mothers count? Does going to prison for a year count? Does having a face covered with tattoos count?

And I can guarantee you he takes care of every single one of his children and their mothers—which is more than can be said for most.

The prison thing was a bloody publicity stunt. They found it on his tour bus, it could have been anyone's gun on the bus, and it was most likely one of his security guards.

And when his mother told him he had one too many tear tattoos on his face, what did he do? That's right, he got one removed. Please, keep going…

My mother told me I had one too many tattoos on my face, and I just kept them all. That's because I am thug life. He took off of one of the tattoos, that shows he is not.

Lol, you obviously know very little about rap history! Lil Wayne is from the New Orleans blocks. All rappers, who have made it, are not 'thug' any more. Well, I am sure there are a few examples of rappers living in the projects, but still rare (does Ghostface Killah count? Probably not!).

Lol, it shows that he respects/loves his mother. It really makes me lol hard when people diss one of the best rappers out there today (have you heard Tha Carter III? In my top three favourite albums of the 00's)! If only people could stop giving an immature, flying crap about celebrities' personal lives (and listen to the music)..!

Lil Wayne is just a character. He was spoon fed into the game. But the best rapper out there today? The boy plays guitar and is rocking out on one of his albums"”what the fuck is that about? However, Lil Wayne's made a lot of money, can't knock his hustle.

Jay Z"”on the other hand"”weaves a tapestry with his metaphors. His word play is ridiculous. Some rappers have better flow (Em), rap with more passion (Pac), or have a dash more charisma (Big), but Jay has the whole package. All those rappers are legends. Lil Wayne isn't a legend. Nor will he ever be.

People have been executed for crimes less vile than wearing a necklace with a suit. PS. Whoever posted that awful pic of Lil' Wayne - I mean come on dude! The guy is a fcukin walking disaster and shouldn't even come near a discussion regarding style.

Anybody know where I can get Jay-Z's Christmas album? Google wasn't much help.

I am shocked to know that people from Glasgow know so much about the thug life.

That said I'm glad that he reduced his facial tattoo's by one and he can do the whole jail thing for a year just to sell a few more albums...clearly he is the real deal.
