SW Approved Brands Are Bland

Thread Starter
I've bought a few shirts from LEC, and I like them a lot. They're inexpensive, fit pretty well, are pretty well made, and I enjoy having colors aside from black and grey in my closet now. I'm thinking about picking up a shirt or two from jcrew.

However, I find that the styles of LEC, while contemporary and colorful, are so widely imitated, it's just too easy to blend into the crowd. No, I don't need to look goth, or sinister to stand out, but it's a little bit sobering to realize that the styles and colors I enjoy simply serve to put me right back in the middle of the pack.

Also, I rarely receive compliments when I wear LEC, it's just too "safe" and middle of the road I think.

Two things. 1. Compliments are the stupidest way to gauge how stylish you look. Anyone that is dressing out of there comfort zone automatically gets complimented on their clothing. A high school kid wearing an ugly ass tie, a bum wearing a Wal Mart tent suit, some frat boy wearing a black suit with a black shirt... They all get compliments. 2. There may be a giant ass Lands End Canvas thread but that doesn't mean that's what the whole SW&D Dresses up in.

Aren't LEC shirts like $15 each? What are you expecting?

Try checking out the official baller threads to step up your game.

"Lands End Canvas" is SF approved? lol, I have been hanging around this nutshack for quite some time and never heard of it. Lands End I have heard of, but no one deifies it to my knowledge.
