What lingerie do you buy your special woman?

My girl friend is very beautiful (no pictures guys) and it has come to my attention she expects gifts from time to time. She recently requested that I buy a particular Victoria Secret lingerie outfit for her. When I checked it out, I found that it was 100% polyester. When I brought this to her attention (I personally refuse to wear any synthetics, except high-tech running gear) she said it didn’t matter, it was all about style. My visit to Victoria Secrets confirmed my suspicions-except for a limit selection of cotton panties, they were all polyester. The best lingerie (e.g., Agent Provocateur, La Perla, I.D. Sarrieri) is at least twenty-times or more expensive, and is often made of silk. I myself wear pretty much only Hermes, Brioni, Kiton, RLPL clothing, and the like. After careful consideration, and because I intend to spend the rest of my life with this woman, I decided to do the right thing. She was just as happy with the Victoria Secret polyester, so who am I to tell her what to wear. After all, my clothing budget is stretched pretty thin as it is. A true story. Am I ignoring my responsibility here? Advice?

Agent Provocateur also sells handcuffs, canes, and whips.

So, the right thing was to buy VS stuff instead of the expensive stuff so that you can continue to buy on the expensive stuff for yourself ? You dont think it would have been nice to get some nice stuff for her rather than for yourself to show to your pals on SF because no one really cares IRL

The right thing was to buy her what she wanted because it would make her happy.

Perhaps the more serious question here is do you try to change her tastes to correspond to your own, particularly since only about 1% of the population gives a rats ass about the stuff discussed here, and I bet the majority of women are perfectly happy with polyester items from VS.

Take the Victorias Secret catalogue to your tailor. Ask him to do it in your favourite fabric.

Long ago we decided that we'd not buy each other clothing.
