Best quality/value boat shoes?

Looking for quality boat shoes <100$, so Quoddys are out of the question I guess... are there any brands superior to Sperry that SF favors?

my sperrys have lasted me 3 years now and i use them as my beater boat shoes. just go with those

Personally I feel Sebago have the edge over Sperry's, but there's not that much in it. A search will reveal considerably more opinions...

Sebagos are made a lot better than Sperrys, but if I were to buy another pair of boat shoes, I would still stick with Sperrys... It's kind of like buying Chucks instead of other canvas sneakers that look exactly like a pair of chucks.

I bought a pair of Cole Haan boat shoes that have lasted me a pretty long time. They are a traditional boat shoe only slightly nicer.

You can't go wrong with either Sperry's or Sebago's. If you are worried about the quality of Sperry's, then you need bigger problems on your hands.

I feel the material with Sebagos is better, but I would take Sperrys always. Boat shoes are gonna stick up within a year (much less if you wear them everyday / have sweatier feet). I feel Sperrys smell a bit less.
