***FOR TRADE ONLY***
John Lobb black calf Chapel Prestige double monks in size UK8E on the 8000 last - These shoes are phenomenal and should be a grail shoe in anyones closet. I don't need to butter them up, you know what they are. $1650 retail, they DO come with the original trees, and have been topy'd to prevent slippage. These were a recent eBay kop, they do fit, but they are a bit snug. At this time, I would only want to trade them with the SF community, otherwise they will go back on eBay at $9.99 and no reserve. They would most likely be best for a US 9D or a smaller US 9.5D.
Outsole length - 11.5"
Outsole width - 4.25"
Insole length - 11"
Heel height - 1 1/8"

WHAT I WOULD TRADE FOR:
- Ideally, I would love to trade these for the same shoe in museum brown in a UK 8.5, but other options I would consider are :
1. Comparable shoes in UK 8.5E or US 9.5D : Gaziano& Girling, John Lobb, Edward Green, Corthay, etc. Maybe C&J but it would have to be either more than one pair or benchmade, handgrade, or the limited edition purple collection for Sweden. Some examples of things I would swap for are the Arca, City II, perhaps the William, and most likely anything G&G. No American made shoes, lets stick to French and English makers. I wear a sleeker cut, nothing blobby please.
2. Suits in a 40R or L, maybe a 38R or L depending on cut. For these I would be looking for RLPL, Tom Ford, Kiton, Oxxford (Mason cut is best for me), Zegna (must be recent, post 2008 say). If its something spectacular, I would pay a nominal difference if the suit would average out more than the shoes based on market value. Nothing with pleated pants, nothing "vintage".
3. SC's in interesting cloths - Up front, Ill say that if I am trading these for RTW, I am not interested really in SC's, would much prefer suits - but if it is really spectacular and interesting, I would take a look. Has to be an FU cloth in a modern cut, something really great.
4. Watches/Jewelry - The only thing to consider for me in this category are vintage watches, preferably vintage Rolex or really vintage (i.e. 1950's ish) chronographs - think Universal Geneve, etc. Would pay a marginal premium if you have something interesting, or in 18K. No cufflinks/tie tacks/tie bars, etc.
5. Shirts, ties, pocket squares, pants , sweaters, everything else- Not interested in any of the above for these.
Don't be shy, PM me your suggestions!
