Powder Blue/Teal

For anyone interested, I have a pair of Parke and Ronen size 36 NWT Royal Blue 4" trunks. Tried on over compression shorts, turns out they're too large for me. I wear a 34x34 in BR or 34 in J. Crew; ~36" waist measured w/tape. PM me if you'd like them for a LOT cheaper than the $90 that Parke and Ronen are getting for them!

That said, I'm looking for a pair in 34 waist

Just a heads up on a great price for BNWT Orlebar Danes from ebay seller DollyDeb. I got mine for $110 shipped. She has multiple sizes and colors so pm her to see if she has what you need.

She was super accommodating for me, and made a special trip to the post office to ship out within an hour of me paying, so I wanted to see if I could direct any business her way.

This depends on your shape.

If you're average to a little bit of extra fluff, go with a darker color, like navy.

If you're skinny-average or athletic, go with red.

+ 1. I have a pair of Setters on the way from her.

Blue. Light or Navy is fine.

What do you guys recommend the Setter (shorter) Orlebar Brown's or the Bulldogs? I'm 5'6".

Love the cut of these, but will be ordering them online.

Cheers!

Yes but that was a given.

Best to pick up a pair of beater trunks for any water related activities. I would expect OB's to be an experience unto themselves and any additional stimulus would be extraneous.

You need WAYWRN trunks and beater trunks. It is crucial.

Parke & Ronen goes up on Gilt every once in a while. I snagged a pair(at retail, unfortunately) last summer and have been quit pleased with them. The only thing I'd change is the velcro fly. I might be swapping them out for a pair with a proper fly this season. However, the cut and style are flattering.

Red would be great.
