flat front and no cuffs. as much as i love pleats and cuffs, in moleskins i want something i can wash and dry flat.

I like mine with single forward pleats. But cuffs do not work well on moleskin because it is so heavy.

much more expensive. but very delicate, about what a super 200 would be. makes vicuna seem like boiler plate.
the stronger moleskin, is 10 year rated. each year added to that makes it stronger yet.
the strongest i have ever seen is the 14 year {about 370 gm ] from brisbane moss. lancashier.

belt loops or no? lap seams? we need a consensus here

I had two pairs made up last year. I had both made with no belt loops and elastic side tabs with buttons plus flat fronts. I believe one had cuffs and one did not. I view moleskins similar to corduroy in terms of what they work with and how they make up which is to say versatile. The moral of the story is do what you want.
