Is it ok for someone to call your item fake in the FS thread

Hi Gents,

I am curious as to whether it is appropriate to call out another member about something being fake on their FS thread. I would think that any person with a sense of decency would pm someone and not try to ruin a sale. I just had this happen to me and am a bit upset about it. This is not a thread to promote my own FS thread, but i am seeking opinions. I did a screen shot vs a link just so we can keep to this topic. But does anyone think this is appropriate as a first post by a new member?

Isn't that considered a thread shit?

I'm no Boss expert, but could that tie just be older? (Hence the oldschool logo)

I think if it's a question then it's valid...
Honestly the discussion could prove beneficial as
the more experienced members could chime in to your defense...
This happened with a recent Tom Ford Shirt Thread which the OP had
fake shirts from Ebay but didn't know it. I think if it's done with respect then it
could be fine IMHO

Edit:

Yes I think he should have pmed you first...and taken measures based on how you responded...

a PM wouldve been my first move...actually thats a lie. I probably wouldnt do shit because i dont have time to babysit and look out for what someone else would be buying. and Id be embarrassed as feck to call something fake based on my limited knowledge and be proven wrong.
