What type of Christmas Tree do you use? - Page 2

Real tree of course. I grew up with real trees. My father would always get an endangered blue-spruce tree and then we would decorate it with church candles and Faberge eggs. He would get a little upset if we broke one or two in a process.
Oh, the simple, good, old times.

Pre-lit meaning it has lights built into it, or something else?

I think I'm going to try to get a real tree this year. One of those that has some kind of contraption at the bottom that catches the falling pine needles and that can easily wrap up the tree to discard it afterwards.

I love real trees, but I've come to accept fake ones too. The secret to making a tree look good is as many lights as you can cram on there.

I usually use about 600 mini-lights on a 7.5' tree. It looks very sparkly.

This year I'm planning to change it up and use some C7 lights along with my mini-lights. I saw it on a few trees last year, and I think it'll look good on my tree too.

Anybody interested in posting pics of your trees and how you decorate your home for the Holiday's. I'll post some when I get a chance to take some pics.

Best Regards,

Gary
