Peyton is up there with the comeback percentages with the best of them over his career and generally a better player. Despite Peyton's play in his two super bowls, I don't think it's a career basis. Sure, the two biggest games are important, but it's a small sample size. In the end, I'd take Peyton over Eli 10 times out of 10. Maybe not with the neck problems though.
+1

disclosure: i irrationally dislike eli manning.

I thought the half time show was great!

What a terrible terrible game. I have been told a congressional inquiry will begin investigating malfeasance and impropriety with the game potentially stripping New York of their title.

Now--I will say this--the two best teams in the NFL did not play last night. The only consolation I have is that I was the first to predict an NYG victory weeks before anyone else here icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Same old damn story, Pats do amazing in the regular season but crap in the playoffs.

Please don't ever discuss football again. You are almost as bad/dumb as airblaster. Maybe worse.

Definitely. These days it seems 4-6 seeds get hot and win it all.

N0- Jimmy Johmson won 3 Super Bowls. And Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith and Michael Irvin. Jerry is a braying ass.

Middle of the road (at best) QB for the Packers in 70s/80s (not sure @ 80s).

Disclaimer: As A Packer then Steeler fan I have a special loathing for the Cowgirls.

To be fair, the Giants website accidentily proclaimed victory on Saturday...

Does anyone else think that the Giants purposely left 12 men on the field near the end of the game? Whoever the 12th guy was didn't even try to run off the field since the penalty was so small compared to the 8 seconds run off the clock. Very smart tactic by the Giants.

I immediately thought it was on purpose, and yes it was very smart.

All the ranting and the only concrete thing they can pin on Brady was the safety, which somehow "killed" the Pats despite them taking a lead into the third quarter. High quality analysis there.

The New York media would have been putting out equally awful analysis had the Giants lost though.

Are you kidding me? That was a total boneheaded play. An elite QB should know not to ground a ball in the end zone.
