I'm sure many of you have had the experience of buying shoes, trying them on, and believing they fit, until you spend a day wearing and walking in them. That's what happened to me with these two pairs of SeaVees sneakers in size 11. I like these a lot, but two days in each pair has convinced me that I need to go up a half size, but of course now I can't return them. My loss/your gain, etc. Sizing info (please read, this is important): these definitely run smaller than I realized, even without socks. For comparison, I wear 11 in adidas and Onitsuka Tiger; 11.5 in Puma. I typically wear 10.5 in non-athletic shoes. I would say these run a full size smaller than dress shoes, so if you wear a 10 dress shoe, these should work for you. If you have further questions about how these fit, PM me. Both pairs have full-length foam-cushioned footbeds (removable, to air them out I guess) with what SeaVees says is leather on the top surfaces. Very comfortable. The main issue for me is that the toe box area is fairly low vertically, and I just need a bit more room up front. Photos of both pairs of shoes can be seen here: https://picasaweb.google.com/1158837...CMbl_tyOtsGxUQ (Please let me know if you have any difficulty viewing this album) The light ones are part of the SeaVees Pantone collection, in "parchment" linen. The photos make it look a bit lighter than it is in reality. It's like a very pale beige or putty, what some people refer to as "natural." I included an indoor picture that I think shows closer to the true color of the material, plus a close-up so you can see the texture of the linen uppers. The blue-gray you can see inside in the heel area is suede. Laces are off-white. Retail on these is $95; they were on sale on the SeaVees web site, but have now sold out. I'm asking $75 >> $67. The red ones are called "tennis shoes" and have a suede strip around the toe, and padded collars. They tend to photograph a bit lighter than they are in reality, and my own pics came out the same way. Again I included an indoor pic which I think is closer to the actual color. To me the fact that the red is a bit more subdued is a plus. Also have the off-white laces. Retail in these is $85; I've seen the red on sale in a few places, including Zappos, but size availability is iffy; with that in mind I'm asking $60 >> $54. (BTW, long shot I know, but if you happen to have the red ones in 11.5 and are interested in trading, please get in touch. I really want a pair of these in the right size, but can't find them anywhere right now.) Terms: Paypal only (please use the personal payment option), US shipping only via Priority Mail w/ delivery confirmation. Prices include shipping. I am usually able to ship the next business day after receiving payment. I've been on eBay for 13 years, have 100% feedback as both buyer and seller. Also I recently sold two Seiko automatic watches here on the forum to satisfied buyers (thread is here). FYI, I will be away from July 8-11, and I travel with only a smartphone (no laptop) so I may not be able to respond right away to questions/offers. If you do PM me, I'll do my best to respond within a few hours. Thanks for looking, and please contact me with any questions.
