One poor choice does not reveal your entire character. The fact that you feel bad about is telling. If I were you I wouldn't do it again and just don't dwell on it. Learn from the mistake.

People's comments here can come across as very harsh sometimes, but by and large they're well intentioned.

I found the ESF shirts tight in the chest, too (but large in the shoulders). I tried sizing up in the neck, but while the chest fits well, the neck and shoulders are much wider. I then tried the slim fit, but the sleeves are very blousey, the shoulders are still to large, and there is way too much excess fabric at the waist. I think you will find that if you size up in the neck, the shoulders will be even wider.

Feeling bad is free. I'm still a crappy guy unless I give the money back, which I don't think I will do.

nohio, what did you do in the end? Get a different brand? I like the Brooks collar. The LEC one was tiny. Most other brands look in-between. But fit is more important than style.

The shoulder seem can't be tailored, can it?
