Ande Whall Denim - Page 3

Perhaps sizing up 1 size might be a wise idea then.

I'd be all over a black pair of Grifters or Cougars if Ande ends up getting some black denim

AW owners. Did the waist stretch with wear?
^^yes.... just a bit. they sretched less than my samurais in the same amount of time.... actually, id say it took a week to stretch them the same as 1 day in the samurais. they will stretch to accomadate your body, just like ALL JEANS

and by all jeans i mean any denim, from anyone, washed or raw, dark or light, superfuture sized or "roca"

I wish Ande still offered more custom stuff.
well... it would be nice but he wants to expand his buisness. to do that and keep costs down hes gonna have to make the products as uniform as possable.

just be glad he offers inseam lengths... think about how many brands dont.

No, I get that. But it's still a small operation being run out of a couple of forums, and I have trouble understanding how hard it can be to offer, say, pairs without any logos sewn in and stamped on.

Hey Arethusa. Yeah its kind of hard to explain. There is so much more time involved doing the full custom set up, once again things that are quite hard to explain.

There is a blank back pocket option, with that option, the only other branding is the small woven label on the back pocket and the leather label. Not really in your face, and if so desired could be taken off in about 2 minutes.

I guess we just missed the boat on those options, I feel you A. The red stitching looked really good on that guy in the other SFs jeans.

No, I'm familiar with some of the stuff involved (premade pockets with the labels already on, not wanting to take down your sewing machine to thread a different color for this one off pair, etc). I understand that. But to some extent"” and it goes without saying that I like your work, it's your line, and you're free to do what you want"” there are custom options I wish you were more accomodating on.

Yeah thats cool man. I would do it for you in a second.......but you know what would happen, every man and his puppy would want custom stuff too Need to push ahead. Going to try and get some sweats done over Christmas when everyone is funin' and sunin' by the beach

Damn this forum. I was just about set on APCs now this... Anyway I'm interested in the COugars or the Grifter so I wont make a choice until I can see some pics of the cougars.

What does everyone think of his new jackets?

It looks like a chore coat. Looks very promising. It will be good to see some of them get broken in.
