Reserving this thread for the first significant heavyweight championship bout in a very long time. It'll be on HBO for free on Saturday.

I will prob check it out. It's on midday right? 4th of July wkend in the US so will be hard to watch live.
Side note: I was actually going to go to the PBF/Ortiz press conference today here in NY. Change of plans and I stayed home.

4:45PM Eastern Time according to my friend.

You didn't miss too much by staying home today. $ didn't do any trash talking at all.

Should be a good one...I think Haye should swing for the fences in the opening rounds. Wladimir can be hit early on and shown he can be hurt (Brewster and Sanders got to him).

If Haye tries to make it a waiting game, Wladimir is going to be content throwing nothings but jabs and an occasional straight right en route to an unanimous decision.

I'd like to pretend to have a take on this one, but I've honestly never seen Haye fight. I have a feeling the same is true most American fight fans.

LOL at those predicting something other than a Klitschko decision. Haye couldn't get inside or launch his one-punch from distance and Wlad is too smart / too cautious to go for a kill that isn't served up on a platter. Can Hopkins, Froch, or Johnson gain fifty pounds to challenge one of the brothers?
