iphone 4 now or wait for 5

you guys are pretty dialed in. has anyone seen anything related to the iphone 5 that would be worth waiting for? I have decided to join the cool kids and jettison my blackberry for iOS but dont want to wait for october....

I have a blackberry with a contract that's up in Dec. I thought about canceling to get on a family plan so I could cut my bill in half, but I decided to wait for the iphone 5 since it will be one of the contenders among my options. IMO, if you're not in a hurry, just wait. Also, get with the movement. Even if the 5 had no camera and the keyboard was missing the letter "E", you need to have the latest version, fool.

I'd wait. Even if there aren't major upgrades or new features I'd have to imagine the processor will be faster and given that my old iPhones slowed down with new software updates the same thing will happen with the 4G as time moves on. I used to have a 3G and did not get the 3GS when it came out... by the time the 4G came along it couldn't have been soon enough because my 3G was SLOOOOWWWWWWW.

no one knows for sure. rumored is the A5 processor and better camera. the processor makes me want to wait until september.

What is the status of google voice integration on an iphone these days?

I could wait for the 5, but since they are making them even more locked down than before, I am worried that google voice will suffer and I should just buy an android phone now.

Normally I am not a "just wait, the next version will be so much better" guy but only 2-3 months out and no discounts on iphone4... just wait.

new version will have a faster processor and likely be the same price.

my iphone 4 lags quite a bit at times

Q: Hey, so I was thinking about buying the iPhone 4 now. But, I was wondering if you guys thought I should wait until the iPhone 5 comes out?

Verizon just sold me a iPhone4 for $100 with a two-year contract.

Perhaps they have orders to start heavily discounting them in anticipation of the 5.
