In the history of great dilemmas this is obviously one of the big ones

Here's the coat

buttons to be replaced with these:

I asked this a few days ago in another thread, but I'm hoping for some last minute opinions. If anyone wants to share some pics of their preference that would be great too. Thanks.

I'd go navy. Tie the buttons together with the jacket like they do belong.

I have three navy jackets with white MoP buttons, they all have white thread. I suggest white.

Both my balzers with MOP buttons have blue thread with the buttons. It adds a small touch most never notice.

Blue thread. Otherwise they look like floating saucers on your jacket.

Navy, please.

I happened to be wearing a similar blazer today, and I had to check what color the threads were. White, as it turns out. I doubt I'd have ever thought about it. Either would work I imagine, it's a rather subtle detail.

Im wearing my navy sportcoat with white MOP buttons today as a matter of fact. Mine all have white stitching except the bottom sleeve button on both sleeves...I had that done in navy. Im on the fence on that choice...sometimes I think its a nice subtle touch, sometimes I have it.

Personal preference: match the button color on wools, contrasting on cotton.
