My SA at Brooks Brothers gives them to me anytime I ask. I even get some extra long ones for my wife's dresses.

What type of garment bag are you looking for? Non-breathable nylon or vinyl that's perfect for traveling? Or breathable cotton or man-made fiber that's appropriate for long-term or seasonal storage?

talk to the SA you buy suits from, they can definitely give you additional bags, at least that was my experience with BB and RL.

I've bought both the Rubbermaid and Dazz at Amazon. About $9 with free shipping, made of canvas with a bit of plastic to see what's inside.

At the risk of sounding like a shill with my low post count, I was happy with the breathable fabric (cotton?) bags I ordered from "xcm8828" on eBay. They were roughly $6 shipped from China.

A deecnt tailor might you one with a suit but if you find $3 too much then there is little hope.

I think the complaint was that the $3 bags had the Men's Wearhouse logo on them, not that they cost too much.

correct, they are much nicer than mens warehouse suits and i don't think ii would be greeted with open arms when a pushy mens warehouse SA tries to sell me a fused Giorgio Pegna 4 button black suit, and i only walk out with the 10 garmet bags i need.

If your'e looking for long term storage, stick to BREATHABLE cotton or BREATHABLE man-made fibers. Both are chemically inert, meaning that these materials won't break down over time and off gas acids. Forget about vinyl or nylon (these are non-breathable and highly acidic over the longer term). For more on the subject of long-term storage of garments, read my two posts on thelondonlounge.net.... http://thelondonlounge.net/forum/vie...ge+bags#p53873
