Trying to find high rise jeans

I have short legs and a long top and I notice that I look better when my jeans sit at my natural waist.

Unfortunately, all the jeans that I like (levi 514's, APC) sit way too low. Anyone have any recommendations for high rise jeans?

Um, Japanese repros? There are many brands that copy the 501.

501s sit just below the waist, I was trying to find something that sits at the waist.

Or would that look comically high?

I think the problem is that I have muscular thighs, so low-mid rise jeans just exacerbate the short legged sausage man problems.

nah dude the LVC's sit higher then modern 501's. Could also try Levis 1966 Super Slim I think?

Those LVC 1944's look pretty nice actually. Where can I try some on/buy them? Or do I have to buy a pair online to try them on?

LVC 1955 have a somewhat higher waist than regular STF Levis

RRL Straight

I personally find the rise too high in my pair so I don't like to wear them with a tucked in shirt, but if your body proportions are different, it might work well.

It's hard to nail down who has which fits in LA. Check with American Rag, Levi's Malibu, or just call Levi's themselves.
