Can I work out my stomache everyday?

I'm thinking I can but someone fill me in on this. Should I work it out every other day? Please note I'm not trying to bulk my stomache by any means ... just trying to define it.

I'll define your stomach for you - it's the bit of you that lies in the upper abdominal caivty.

working out a particular muscle or set of muscles won't reduce the fat in that area more than any other rite? - so if you work out your abs a lot but don't reduce your total fat your stomach will actually look bigger. less is more. jogging or some other exercise that works on all muscle groups would be the most effective for defining abs

You can do whatever you want... the question should be whether you should, which IMO is no... Ab definition comes from reducing fat, which you have to do through diet.

It depends on what your other exercises are. Bench presses, squats, deadlifts, etc all work out your abs. Given that, once a week should be plenty for direct ab work.

I do the plank everyday, 1 set of 3 - does wonders to your abs and excellent for core strength
