The WSJ on velvet slippers - Page 2

Saw this posted in another thread. I suspect that as we speak this is hanging on Foo's bathroom mirror to remind him every morning as he performs his necessaries, just exactly what it is that he's working for.

I was once in trickers shop on Jermyn at the same time a guy was there picking up some custom slippers. he was the real deal, very british upper class, looked like a 60's city boy, and what he said was that he wore a pretty strict uniform during the week, and the slippers were his weekend shoes that were something different. I am guessing he wore shoes mon to friday that were all very similar.

My wife got these for me with my initials. I enjoy them.

Is anyone faimiliar with the sizes from broadlandslippers?
