Those are almost identical to the toes on my u caps (or better: the toes on mine are almost identical to those of T4). Shows you how much difference the material can make in the appearance of a shoe.

The Stingray is simply stunning. Very elegant use of a skin more traditionally used in Western wear & Cowboy boots.

I like the stingrays. The look like they could be worn as formal shoes (I presume this is your intention with the silk laces?).

I'm not a fan of many of the recent shoes posted though. They are excessively gaudy for my liking, especially the blue shoes posted by Roy.

To each their own...

That is how Riccardo usually makes his goodyear shoes, with woodpegged waists for extra strenght. Similar to what is done on cowboy boots.

Actually, no. They're not the first. Most of them have wooden pegging.

@ Meister
The laces are there just for the photos. Riccardo likes them that way and wants to use them on his website. Included in the shipment are normal round and flat laces.

goodyear is made with a machine. i don't think he's doing this on the bespoke numbers?

'goodyear' when they mean handwelted

and no, he does not use machines
he handstitches the welt
and no glue or linen feathers either
