Obviously relatively so. Heroin doesn't melt the skin right off of your arm.

I am thankful to this experience, it kept me always away from drugs.

Substitute drugs aren't that new, hippies used to smoke nutmeg when they had no grass. But detroying your body with every shot so clearly is insane ..

if not drugs, then what is your excuse?

Easily. Their yield is awful as well. Give me $500 for lab equipment, a place to work, and clients and it would be business. Much safer business. None of what's going on requires more than youtube videos, let alone proper lab experience. They could even do what they're doing now and get much safer results if they'd just slow the fuck down, clean their equipment, and be a touch more precise.

My major issue if I was to go in to business would be dealing with addicts. Eventually someone will figure out where you live, kill you, and rob you of all of your supply, and then shoot it up. If you lived somewhere nice enough that you didn't have to worry about the junkies and ran through a few layers of middle men, you would then have to worry about the police.

Also, at the price you're dealing with to produce on your own, the profit margins are very slim. With these guys having very little money and plenty of time on their hands (no job), the cash is much more valuable than their time. They'd probably rather spend hours producing twice as much than 15 minutes procurring a cleaner, safer drug at twice the cost.

if they had money, they would probably have heroin. I'm guessing the one and only appeal to this stuff is that it is extremely cheap to make yourself.

the same reason they smoke and drink booze... some people are willig to accept more negative side affects than others for the high

I assume you drink bozze even though it damages different part of the body. could you explain why?

Your assumption is incorrect, I barely drink; social drinker as it were.

You're lucky. Some of this is self-control and upbringing, but for the most part it is genetics. Many addicts have a much larger addiction center (or w/e it's called) in the brain that needs stimulation. I am probably not describing this correctly but this helps explain why some people can smoke a cigarette once and decide they don't like it while others will smoke one and get hooked right away.
