You're right! This is fantastic

Yeah, was actually just about to comment on that too (about jumping to the latest post via the first link)

It'll take some getting used to, but I think it looks great thus far. Thanks for all your guys work, mods.

It's mostly just small quirks and things moved around to get used to. Implementation was surprisingly quick and seamless though, mad props for that

Wow, I really like this redesign. It's clean and easy to navigate. The mouse-overs over the "Forums" tab is great. The site is running extremely fast for me, everything seems to load about 50% faster -- that's awesome. The ads on the right are very prominent, but I understand it from a money-making point of view; this site isn't free after all.

I do have one suggestion: Make the thread titles bold so they're easier to read. Right now it blends in with the "Last post" text, which is less important for any reader.

Am I the only one having problem using the new forum throughChrome? I can't post or send PMs for some reason, works well with Firefox though.

New lines in old posts have disappeared, makes them look weird.

Searching within a thread doesn't work, if you click the "read full post" link, it takes you to an unrelated post/page in the thread.

Having a "Start a New Thread" button while viewing a thread seems unnecessary and will probably cause a lot of mistakenly created new threads.

Also redundant:

The system as a whole seems fine, but there's a lot of UI clutter that can be improved IMO, and once it's cleaned up more it'll feel much more polished.

Now that the sticky threads like WAYWT have been segregated and given their own special blue box, is there any quicklink on the mainpage to "view first unread"?

the new layout actually works better on chrome for me on my mac. i usually use safari but for some reason it was really choppy to scroll on the new layout, which never happened to me before.

clicking on a link in the "sticky" section should, IMO, bring you to the last unread post. the last thing I want to do is go to Page 1 of WAYWT.

im really loving the new for sale section. also, this ability to link your for sale listings (including picture and price) in your signature is absolutely amazing.

Really slow browsing on mobile, plus the ads on the side = frown.gif since I basically only use my phone these days

But the new b+s is pretty neat

so i can still post new threads + price drop! in the "archive"?

also, need more color contrast imo.

Is there any way to do an advanced search within a specific thread like we used to be able to do?

e.g. I want to search for all posts made by "LA Guy" in this thread instead of just searching for "LA Guy" under the "Search This Thread" box.

It's really not actually, I am on an old VBB format forum and the text there is definitely bigger.

And ctrl + scroll works obv, but it's kind of a PITA to have to do it every time I load up. Not even sure why it had to be changed TBH.

That said, the new features are awesome & definitely help a ton. Just thought the font deal would be an easy one time fix.
