SF Vegas Meetup July 29th - 31st - Page 2

Ya, on a few occasions I've ended up there playing beer pong. Usually, pretty drunk by the time I've arrived. They have the beer pong tables all set up and they'll give you the cups and ping pong balls when you get a pitcher. Just jump on the tables and challenge someone. Challenge a group of girls for obvious reasons. Competition + booze + girls = girls flashing freely. Playing beer pong in Vegas sounds stupid and corny, but I've always ended up having fun nights there.

I'm about to leave Vegas after a year and a half,so have fun in my stead.for chill places, someone said the Peppermill, the fireside lounge there is really cool. There are all kinds of cool places to see and things to do besides the mainstream touristy stuff.

For great drinks, I highly recommend the Cosmopolitan hotel.every bar there has is it's own custom cocktail menu. The best bars there,IMO are the Chandelier (a 3 level bar that's literally a giant chandelier), and the Vesper bar, which is awesome for classics. Also check out the Downtown Cocktail Room, which is in the downtown area, near Fremont street.Restaurants recomendations would depend on your price range.

Obviously; attracts the honeys* like moths. *Actually black urban/hypebeasty dudes IME. thanks caspian; any good sushi or thai places on the strip? I don't really want to wander downtown as I plan on having a bottle (and hopefully a j on the dl) on me at all times.

How baller do you want to be with your sushi? Shibuya at MGM is pretty damn $$$ from what I remember. I forget the name of the place at the Wynn but it was along the same lines. If you're over by the Hard Rock, there's a place in the strip mall across the street that I've been to a couple of times. Basic, highly Americanized, but pretty tasty from what I remember and definitely not expensive. There are some decent Thai places but they're off the strip. Otherwise, you can try your luck at Imperial Palace... YMMV but they have restaurants that serve just about everything you could think of.

Well I don't want to put my brother or his friend up to anything, but me personally I will gladly pay 100/meal or more for good sushi. I've lived in the midwest for almost 3 years, I need my ocean fish.

I've only ever had sushi once in my life, and it was off strip.try the places whodini mentioned, and also the Cosmo has a higher end sushi place, but I can't give an honest review on it.
