Agreed. Although I just invited a friend and they offer $50 in credit now? That would have been nice two years ago when I would buy regularly. Now it's pretty much disappointment just looking at the weekly list of sales.

Thanks for the notice. A friend was encouraging me to get involved the other day, but I'll pass.

Then you let me know some brands have unique sizing. No s--- sherlock that's why I emailed in the first place.

So sad.

My first and only purchase to date was a pair of jeans that claimed to have front rise of approximately 8.5". What arrived was a pair that with a rise of 10.75". Needless to say, I have a credit waiting for me.

I wonder how they take their measurements...

Successfully purchased an umbrella and some $10 shoes, otherwise I avoid them. It really comes down to the fact that the prices discounts aren't that great. Plus the overinflated MSRP is a turnoff.

old thread but I can't find the official one (if there is one).

Was wondering whether anyone purchased the surface to air rings on final sale over the weekend? Bought one as a gift to my sister (the sleeping doe ring looked really cool), received my order today and they literally sent me an EMPTY BOX. what the ****.

Wow. That is next-level incompetence. I'd call and raise hell. You can probably get more than just a refund if you care/are persistent enough. Then again I can't remember the last time I was on Gilt so I don't know if the credit they'd likely issue means anything or is worth the hassle.

I haven't returned any of my purchases from them. Recently, I haven't bought anything from them. Their sales for the past few months haven't been enticing at all.

There are only so many liquidation inventories available for flash sales. And I suspect after 2009 those liquidation inventories dried up rather quickly. Now Gilt relies on just overpriced marked down items at similar price to other online outlets and sometimes manufacturer's own website.

I probably ordered from Gilt every month or so until late 2009. Haven't ordered a single thing in 2010-now

Have you ever noticed that all their models are the same exact size and weight.
Seemed like they just picked 6' 165lbs with a size 40 suit as their default and never change it for the specific models.

What does this inarticulate embarrassment of a post even mean? Is it a complaint?

Wow didn't see this thread had been revived. Ordered a pair of Engineered Garments jeans this past weekend expecting to get the orange selvedge lining as pictured. Already have a pair with the standard red line and I received a pair red line ones. Customer support literally just told me that it was a batch variation and they sent me the right product. If I want to return, I can get credit or give Gilt $15 for sending me something that I didn't order. It's not that big of a difference, but you should really sell the product you have pictured. One support guy also thought I was talking about shoes.
