err, kind of a matter of personal opinion isn't it?

H. Lorenzo so far has the most interesting pants selections if you want something with color blocking or pattern.

NMWA has my personal favorite color way with their peel trouser pickup.

I picked up the Vasari trouser and they are pretty nice. The pattern is almost the same as the charcoal Burheads from two years ago. Waist is slightly elastic, good fit with a slight taper.

I really like the navy Frame trousers but I feel like they'd be too slim for me (H Lorenzo and Wrong Weather have them).

Any suggestions? Done the usual Yoox trawl for ideas, but nothing yet. Adieu might be an option

Anything minimally designed should be fine, imo footwear doesn't matter much for Schneider. I think Greg/gdl mentioned that one of the models from the FW16 lookbook used his own pair of loafers. If you wanna be absolutely safe and fashionable at the same time, I think a pair of navy, or maybe black achilles would work with almost everything. For dressier shoes, a pair of black loafers or plain derbies would work. I think the goal should be to draw as little attention to your feet as possible so people can look at the texture of your clothes.

www.Matchesfashion.com picked up Lemaire loafers for FW16 and they are tone of the most simplest loafers around. The leather is not buffed to death. Buy, add rubber sole, and wear it to death.

You can also check out the Eidos thread here in the forums and I think for FW16 collection there were talks about the models slippers. Research into that.

I am not at home but I remember bookmarking a discussion in one of the SW&D thread where I and I think @dieworkwear discussed other options for minimal loafers, slippers.

@accordion - Yeah apart from Notre's styling, I can't recall anyone going with anything other than black. It was more just suggestions for some nice, minimally detailed loafers. Padrone or Auttaa are what I had been looking at, but was also trying to look for something a bit more robust for the upcoming winter. I have a pair of Sanders boots that I'm dyeing black, which will hopefully go well, and also considering dyeing these derbies that I have (dyeing because I get zero use out of navy footwear. The crepe sole is also much duller after a few wears, so would maybe not draw the eye so much).

And also specifically for what could go with the Tray trousers, which I love the design of but am past the point of making purchases without at least knowing what I'd wear with them.

Had spotted the Lemaire ones earlier but thanks for the reminder, and had also been considering their Paraboot collaboration.

I forgot where I saw this, but a Japanese store did a whole shoot with navy achilles for one of the recent seasons and everything was styled really well. You'll need boots for winter and foul weather. Chelsea/side zips would be the safest.

I don't think those pants are meant to be worn much more than lounging or taking a walk, making a drive out to go hangout. Looks like sweats to me and another take on the luxe loungewear. Loafers or even minimal slip ons would fair better, the paraboots or sanders you recently wore in WAYWT would look out of place. SS pants are also quite slim to begin with you need a low profile shoe IMO to really balance out the silhouette and again not draw your eyes down.

Hunting and Collecting (but by the looks of things it's only womens now, unless their men's is coming later)

If anyone else pre-ordered something from Cruvoir for FW16 and hasn't heard anything, I would email them. Apparently they've had everything "for awhile" and just never bothered to send me an invoice for the balance or contact me
