^ that looks freakin great!

Now I'm starting to question if I should have gone with the thinner in burgundy over the conversation, hmmmm

Color looks great. I forget which color I ended up ordering the long coat in... If it isn't burgundy I may have to get that as well

All this talk of pre-orders coming in reminded me of my own for the Resin jacket. Damn it guys.

I need another coat as if I need a third armpit. But I have to get something in that maroon color this coming season.

goddammit, even though i preordered a fuckload of stuff, y'all motherfuckers are already making me want more just with the first delivery

thinner jackets are fantastic, i was pleasantly surprised by how substantial the materials are

is this the first time stephan has made hats? i don't remember ever seeing any before

Hats aren't new, I definitely remember seeing them in gravitypope from a few seasons back.

Damn. Crack cost doesn't make it easy.
Beige thinner (easy)
Grey fuzzy thinner (seems like the kind of fabric I will regret passing on)
Black crack (will be perfect for Australian winters)
🤔

Tentative interest check: would anyone be interested in taking over my Resin jacket (size IV) preorder?

This first drop has me shook/reconsidering what pieces I thought I wanted. Lots of nice stuff.

^ the perils of pre-orders. That's why I don't do them anymore -- when the time comes for delivery, there is always something different or better around the corner.

Not necessarily true. I expect more retailers to move toward pre orders: for the customers, it's a chance to buy unique make ups, stuff that won't be available elsewhere; for the retailer it's guaranteed sales, even if you (like NMWA) offer discounts and partial up front payment

If you believe that everything is substitutable then pre orders have no benefit. But if there's something special a pre order may be the only way to get it. And most retailers will make only safe buys, so pre order is the only way to get something awesome as opposed to "something that goes with everything"
