Trying to decide what to get, so far the list is:

Film in either the burgandy basketweave or the blue-grey from SF
Fresco in either wine or black
Fields in sand
Thinner in the SF navy fabric

I wish the brush shirst was in some other color, i already have 4 SS grey shirts, but still contemplating it haha

One way that you might want to decide on color is to think about which of the colors is best for your complexion. I like burgundies, but frankly, saturated reds made my skin look not so great (I have an oxblood SNS Herning sweater that gets nearly no wear.) Blues, on the other hand, really match my complexion. But ymmv, and I find that color is poorly rendered on a computer screen, even in the best pictures. I think that you have enough in your wardrobe that you can put things up against your skin and decide.

As for a long coat vs a short jacket, for you, just based on your fit pics, I would say that the film coat will probably be the most flattering to your physique. You are more built than am I, both upper body, and it seems, lower body as well, and the shoulders and neckline of the Film is. imo, good for more athletic physiques.

As for the shirt, I have a ton of black leather jackets, so I don't feel like I can really speak against the idea of wearing a uniform.

Thanks @LA Guy! In general I think burgandy and wine colors look good on my skin but so do blues, perhaps that particular blue a little less so?

It's a blue grey.  Really works for me, and I tend to think that blues and greys are an easier part of the spectrum for most complexions, from quite dark to gingers.  That said, part of the equation is psychological comfort, and if you just feel more at home in a certain colors, you should go with them.  ime, unless someone is just sick of whatever they are wearing and really need a change, evolutionary change is better than revolutionary change.
