Big pockets kind of throw it off to me on that blue coat.

Recent purchase. Awesome deep green colour, much darker in person.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

That plaid is really nice.

EDIT: realized it's F/W14 or earlier.

New to Schneider so bare with...I tried on a memory coat a couple of days ago, it was tagged in the store as a medium. It was probably a tad large for my liking but not overly massive...certainly wearable for an oversized fit and to layer underneath. I take a small in most outerwear, was just wondering whether this season's outerwear is tts, in particular the memory coat and how much smaller a small would be. Would I still be able to get a decent size jumper underneath?. Also, know i've had a look around I really like the older season merino coats for the bigger liner, is this the only difference between the merino and the memory (other than materials/colour)?  Trying to decide whether to buy a new memory or search for a second hand merino.

Cheers

um.. how does it fit again?

fits like a large. i dont fit ss cardigans. shoulders and arms all too tight for me. size 6 merino fits like all of his other outerwear imo

anyone on the quiz up app? we need a SS quiz. possible topics inlcude: sizing, seasons, colorways, etc. and to keep it in the spirt of this thread, half the questions will be comparisons between merino and memory

Medium would be a size V normally, but I would think it would be quite big if you're normally a Small. I think you could size down pretty easily. And I believe the lining is the only main difference, though fabrics vary between different colorways.

The jade is on another level compared to that gray one, imo. I wouldn't feel bad about selling

pockets are different between merino and memory. Also, you can see buttons when buttoned up on a memory whereas it's hidden on merino. Scarf is also removable since it's buttoned on

That size 6 would be like an XL. My tan Merino is a 4 but I also had a grey version in a 5. Both were very similarly sizes except the sleeves and shoulders felt slightly more roomy on the 5. I can wear my tan Merino with a sweater and shirt underneath pretty comfortably. I think the drop from 4 to 3 was much bigger than 5 to 4. Also the fabric was thicker on my tan one that the grey version.
